Q: How do I enable Automatic Updates within Windows Vista?

A:

1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: Windows Update. Press the ENTER key.

2. In the Windows Update window, in the left hand column, click Change settings.

3. In the Install Updates window, click Install Updates Automatically (recommended), choose a good frequency and time, and then click OK.

4. The computer then checks for updates. You may be prompted to download and install the updates if any are found.
