Q: How do I rerun WinSAT?

A: The Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) runs once during the Out of Box Experience (OOBE) setup phase but can also be run manually by running WinSAT.exe from the command line or from the Performance Rating and Tools user interface.

1. From the Windows Vista default Start menu, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.

2. Right-click Command Prompt, and then select Run as administrator.

3. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

4. In the Command Prompt window, you can run WinSAT. The various switches available are listed below. The most common command to run would be WinSAT formal.
